The dual wavelength Laser diode: Antalgic effect and biostimulation
The high-energy, up to 8 watts on the treatment area, for an effective stimulation deep into the tissues.
Wave at 810 nm: High absorption with local biotherm activation
Wave at 980 nm: High penetration and high biostimulation effects
Power up to 8 W: divided into two equal wavelengths in order to ensure maximum efficiency in depth
Description
The feasibility of pairing up laser radiation emitted by semiconductors using optical fiber has allowed the development of a new laser therapy device: DUETTO, which features energy emission from sources with two distinct wavelengths – 810 and 980 nm (nanometers) – delivered simultaneously, each with an exit power equal to one half of total power.
The 810 nm wavelength has two important features: low absorption coefficient with consequently high penetrating ability high statistical probability of initiating the photochemical reactions occurring in biostimulation. The 980 nm wavelength displays two distinguishing characteristics: significant photobiomodulating effect high absorption coefficient with related localized thermal effect and consequent antalgic effect.
These biophysical features are backed by the high power of the emission source, which is capable of reaching 8 W and thus ensures effective therapeutic results. In relation to the modes of emission of luminous radiation, the DUETTO laser features two options: Continuos and Pulsed CDC (Constant Duty Cycle).
They are advisable, respectively, for dynamic scanning and static localized applications, for antalgic purposes and treatment of trigger points.
DUETTO is a medical device according to Directive 93/42 / EEC.
